- Why should I have a SUP seat?
Paddling SUP is a very popular activity, especially since SUP boards – in particular the inflatable models – are both practical and easy to use. Standing up and paddling is great exercise, but in many households the SUP board quickly ends up on the shelf or is rarely used because it can be both difficult and tiring.
By combining standing paddling with the option to sit down, you get more use cases for your SUP, which means it will be used more often. Sitting down and paddling is also less strenuous and more efficient, allowing you to paddle longer distances with less effort.
- What makes this SUP seat special?
This SUP seat is an inflatable model, which means you sit a little above the board and achieve a much better, more ergonomic paddle stroke. It gives you a better angle on the paddle and makes it easier to reach the water with each stroke.
If you instead sit directly on the board it often becomes harder to reach the water, meaning you have to stretch more. This leads to more strenuous and less efficient paddle strokes.
The SUP seat is also equipped with storage behind the backrest. Since SUP boards lack built-in storage (apart from the deck lines), this extra storage space is very useful. The seat has a large compartment as well as two cup holders.
