With the hybrid paddle you get a SUP paddle and a kayak paddle in one package. Paddle standing with the handle on, or remove the handle and fit the hybrid blade to paddle seated with a blade at each end.

The hybrid paddle is made for those who have or buy our SUP Seat Inflatable (Universal). With seat and hybrid paddle you turn your SUP into a sit-on kayak and can alternate between standing and sitting. It saves energy on longer tours, and in choppier water you can sit down to lower your centre of gravity and reduce the risk of capsizing.

- Easy to bring along
Both the paddle and the blade come apart, so the whole hybrid paddle fits in a bag, in the car or in the backpack of an inflatable SUP.

- Hybrid paddle, hybrid blade or kayak paddle?
Already have our SUP Paddle Aluminium? Then you only need the hybrid blade. If you only want to paddle seated and never stand, a regular kayak paddle such as our 4-piece aluminium kayak paddle can be an alternative, but it cannot be turned into a SUP paddle.

How to turn the SUP paddle into a kayak paddle (see steps 1–3 in the pictures)
1. Take out the SUP paddle and the hybrid blade.
2. Remove the handle from the top of the SUP paddle.
3. Push the hybrid blade into the shaft where the handle was until it locks in the notches in the side of the shaft.
4. Set the length (202–220 cm) and check that both blades are secure before you paddle out.

Back to SUP paddle: remove the hybrid blade and refit the handle.
