Loading a kayak onto your car roof?
We recommend a pair of transport cradles. We dare say they are among the easiest and lightest kayak carriers on the market – no tools or screwing required. Once the kayak carriers are in place the kayak can be loaded onto the car. Then secure the kayak with two tie-down straps and you are ready to go. Less time loading means more time paddling!

Transport cradles that fit most roof bars
If you have a rectangular roof bar, choose the carrier with a rectangular profile. For an oval bar, choose the oval profile. If you have a wing-shaped roof bar, the wing profile is the better fit. The cradle's opening is fairly flexible, so the oval profile also works for roof bars that are slightly wider than the cradle's opening. The kayak carriers are made from foam with no loose parts.

Most types of kayaks sit safely and securely in the carrier. Thanks to its flat design it also works with wider kayaks. The foam kayak carrier has a shock-absorbing effect and is gentle on both the kayak and the roof bars.

Our kayaks and most other models are best loaded with the cockpit facing upward. If you want to load two kayaks side by side but have a very narrow roof rack (under 110 cm) you can easily trim a small piece off the carrier without losing any functionality.

Tip! – The kayak carriers also work excellently as a kayak storage stand when not in use for transport.
