Eskimå - a versatile sea kayak
The Eskimå has become one of the most popular kayaks in Sweden, largely thanks to its all-round qualities. It is an excellent choice for anyone who wants an easy-to-paddle sea kayak that is simple to get on the water and comfortable to sit in. The foot pegs, used to steer the rudder, are easy to adjust while seated in the kayak. The small mesh pocket on top of the kayak makes it easy to store a map, fruit and other items you want to access during your paddling trip.

The Havspaddeln Eskimå is a sea kayak, meaning it is longer than 5 m and therefore handles well in choppy and windy conditions. The Eskimå is a rugged kayak made from 3-layer polyethylene plastic, making it very torsionally rigid and robust. Simple steering system
The rudder at the rear of the kayak is easily controlled using the foot pegs in the cockpit. The foot peg distance can be quickly adjusted so the kayak suits both shorter and taller paddlers. The rudder makes the kayak easy to manoeuvre when changing course and compensating for wind. You can easily raise and lower the rudder from the cockpit via a cord conveniently located on the outer side of the kayak.

Storage space
The Eskimå is equipped with two large storage compartments, plus a smaller easily accessible hatch just behind the cockpit (right side). These can hold sleeping bags, extra clothing, food and other gear you want to bring on a trip. Small items such as a water bottle, map and fruit are best stored in the mesh pocket in front of the cockpit, or in the smaller central hatch with a screw cap.

Comfortable paddling
The Eskimå has a soft seat with a backrest that is adjustable in height, depth and lateral position. On the inside of the cockpit there are thigh braces that give you good contact with the kayak and allow you to sit comfortably throughout the paddling trip.

Great carry handles
Handles at the bow and stern of the kayak make it easy to carry. If carrying the kayak solo, you get a good grip around the cockpit rim with one hand. If you are on your own and the kayak is too heavy to carry, a kayak trolley can be very useful for transporting the kayak on land.
