2 tie-down straps for securing the kayak to a roof rack, kayak trolley or trailer. The straps are made from durable polyester and fitted with a metal buckle. The buckle does not come into contact with the kayak thanks to a protective extension on the strap that sits between the kayak and the buckle.

The strap length of 3.5 m means it fits all kayak models. Northkayak recommends this type of tie-down strap over the "ratchet" style, as it is easier to control exactly how tightly the kayak is secured.

We recommend using kayak carriers when transporting kayaks on a car roof. A kayak is secured simply and safely by running the strap around the roof bar on both sides and then pulling it firmly. One strap per roof bar is usually sufficient.
