Maximum comfort and flexibility
Ergonomic seat – The padded seat provides optimal comfort, with a slightly elevated position for better paddle reach and a rigid backrest for extra support. The seat is adjustable to fit different paddlers and is equipped with two cup holders and a storage pocket behind the backrest.
Easy drainage – A drain plug is positioned in the centre of the cockpit, making it simple to empty the kayak of water after use. The location is well thought out so it can also be used as a storage space, easily accessible from the seat.
Spaciou packing space – Despite being an inflatable kayak, there is plenty of room for gear. Storage options include behind the seat, in a mesh pocket in the cockpit and in the space at the drain plug. The kayak also has deck lines both fore and aft for securing dry bags and other equipment.

Longer paddle for optimal ergonomics – Since the Balder is somewhat wider than a traditional sea kayak, a 230 cm paddle is included. The extra length ensures you can easily reach the water and enjoy a more natural and comfortable paddling motion.

Extremely durable material – Havspaddeln Balder is made from robust PVC material, the same high-quality material we use for our rental SUPs. This makes the kayak highly resistant to wear and external stress. The bow and stern are also reinforced to handle impacts against jetties and rocks.
Durable fins – The kayak's fins are larger than standard and built to withstand a great deal, but should be handled with some care during storage and transport.
